National Poetry Day will take place on Thursday 5th October 2023, and this year's theme is 'Refuge'. There is a great selection of poems linking to the theme, from poets past and present so it is a great opportunity to discover and even rediscover your favourite rhymes!
The Library has a large collection of poetry, with displays currently on show across the three centres. Why not pop along to see what's available, share with your friends on social media or simply take some time out to read your favourite!
