What is Read Six?
Read Six is a challenge developed by the DARC to encourage all students and staff to read! The scheme invites you to choose six reads and record your reading in a diary. If you want to improve your reading skills or just want to get back into reading then Read Six is for you!
Why should I take part?
Reading is a great way of challenging yourself and can improve literacy skills, teach you new things, support your wellbeing and build confidence. Once you've completed six reads, you’ve finished and you’ll receive a certificate and a prize!
You can join the scheme by collecting a diary from the DARC before browsing our huge fiction collection or start your journey today by submitting your reading online, using the form below.
