The DARC has a brand new collection of inclusive fiction books!
The series of books, published by Barrington Stoke, are promoted as being ‘super-readable’ in an effort to help everybody unlock a love of reading. Alongside award-winning and engaging stories from the best writers, their books contain a whole host of specialist features designed to help dyslexic and reluctant readers, but are for absolutely anybody to enjoy!
The books include a unique, dyslexia-friendly font to make reading easier, with accessible layouts and spacing to stop the page from becoming overcrowded. Off-white, heavier paper is used to help reduce visual stress.
You can find these in the Short Reads section at any of the campus centres, alongside the existing collections of dyslexia friendly books.
