The DARC has a brand new collection of the latest Penguin Readers!
These new, improved versions now include the best contemporary fiction, essential non-fiction and more popular classics than ever before – from George Orwell’s 1984, to Anne of Green Gables and War of the Worlds, there’s sure to be something for everyone.
The series are written especially for learners of English as a foreign language (ESOL) but anybody can enjoy them.
To view all new and existing Penguin Readers, click on the virtual bookshelf image below, then pop to the DARC to borrow a copy!
Online versions
Each book is accompanied by digital and audio versions available to access via the Penguin Readers Library. To access these, you will need to log in with the details listed on the passwords Moodle page.
Once logged in, click on My Library and then Unlocked Books before selecting a book book cover and then clicking View Book to view the digital and audio versions.
