Once again, the Library is supporting BBC Radio 2’s 500 Words campaign.
The Library’s very own Centre Librarians, Amy and Lynn have been selected as judges to sift through entries and help contribute to choosing the winners of this year’s competition.
‘500 Words’, first launched in 2011 is the UK’s most successful short story-writing competition for children between the ages of 5 and 13. In 2018 134,790 children entered the competition.
Tune in to the 500 Words Final, which will broadcast live from Windsor Castle on BBC Radio 2’s Zoe Ball Breakfast Show, on Friday 14th June.
