Once again, the Library is supporting BBC Radio 2’s 500 Words campaign.
The Library’s very own Lynn and Joe have been selected as judges to sift through entries and help contribute to choosing the winners of this year’s competition.
‘500 Words’, first launched in 2011 is the UK’s most successful short story-writing competition for children between the ages of 5 and 13. Since it launched, the competition has received over 912, 986 short stories!
Tune in to the 500 Words Final, which will broadcast live from Buckingham Palace on BBC Radio 2’s Zoe Ball Breakfast Show, scheduled for Friday 12th June.
