The Library held its annual awards ceremonies at Booth Lane and Daventry this week.
The ceremonies, now in their eighth year, highlights achievements by students and staff in Library schemes and competitions as well as showcases what the Library has to offer.
Students that have participated and completed Reading Ahead, Word Detective, Maths Magician, DigiCap, Reading Rangers as well as competitions including poetry and photography were recognised during the annual event.
Thank you to our special guests at Booth Lane, author Sue Bentley, the Mayor of Northampton Cllr Nazim Choudary, Mirna Peach, Chair of the Executive CoLRiC Committee and Harinder and Lily from the Reading Agency.
We also thank Sue Bentley, author Mark Robson and Daventry Town Mayor Cllr Lynn Jones for attending our Daventry ceremony as special guests.
At Booth Lane, Natalia Hirbu came away with five certificates for her completion of various Library schemes and received the prestigious Library Achievement trophy for 2018-19. Congratulations Natalia!
Congratulations also go to Bastien Capelli and Daniel Skipper from Daventry and Booth Lane respectively who have each won an Amazon Fire 7 Tablet after their names were chosen from a prize draw for all Reading Ahead challenge completers.
