Creative Writing Competition 2022 [Now Closed]

To tie in with World Book Night on Saturday 23rd April, the Library has launched a Creative Writing Competition to showcase writing skills across the College and give you the chance to write and enter your own poems, short stories or even songs! Pick up a pen and get creative with words!

This year’s theme is Alternative Endings.

For this year’s competition, we encourage you to write an alternative ending to your favourite book, film, television show, poem, or even song!

The competition is open for entries to both students and staff until Friday 20th May and entries must be no longer than 500 words.

Please submit your work via the Creative Writing upload form below. Alternatively, hand in your work to the Library desk, ensuring that it includes your name, student number and title of your work.

All entrants will receive a free book courtesy of The Reading Agency’s World Book Night and winning entrants will receive a prize!

Good luck!
